The Staff at Teddy Bears Day Nursery have over 100 years of Childcare experience between them!

They are carefully chosen for their personality and love of children as well as their qualification.

All of our Staff work full time which helps the children to build good relationships, and helps with continuity & confidence.

All the staff are Level 3 qualified or above except two who are experienced Early Years Practitioners.

Meet Sue Thomas

Manager of Teddy Bears Day Nursery for over 25 years

My name is Sue Thomas, I am the Owner and Manager of Teddy Bears Day Nursery.

I trained as a nursery nurse N.N.E.B. in 1983, 40 years ago and worked in three other nurseries before I opened Teddy Bears Day Nursery on November 4th, 1991, and I’m still working here full time!

The nursery is ‘small, but perfectly formed,’ it is very homely, registered for up to 34 children per session.

I have a super, dedicated staff team who are dedicated to the teaching and care of the children, and between us we have over 100 years of childcare experience!
